Top 5 places on my travel list

I love to travel, I’ve done quite a lot of it in my 23 years of life. My parents started travelling with us as soon as we were old enough to remember it and that's where my love of travel begun, and i just never stopped. Ive been to every state in Australia and have experienced a lot of what our beautiful country has to offer. Ive also been to Indonesia and New Zealand.
But here is the top 5 places on my travel list.

USA

I can’t even begin to name all the places i want to go in America, it has been my dream basically since i knew about this country to go there. When i was younger i always told everyone ‘one day i will stand in time square one day’. So of course New York is high on my list, but i want to go everywhere. Ideally i would take a few months and see as much as i can. Its really an amazing country and i WILL get there one day.

France

How could i not want to go to this beautiful place. I have a fascination with the eiffle tower, i think its beautiful and i would love to go to Paris and see it for myself.

India

I love Indian culture, especially the food! It would be amazing to see this country.

Japan

To be honest i don’t know a whole lot about this country but that makes me want to go there even more. It seems like a very fast paced country and id love to experience that.

Turkey

My husbands dad was born in Turkey and he still has family that live there. Neither of us have been there and would love to make the trip to learn about his heritage and meet the rest of his family (we have met some when they came to Australia).

Music of the moment #1

Sam smith

I love basically every song on his album In the lonely hour, his voice is just like heaven to me.
To name a few of my favourite songs though:
Like i can
Latch (acoustic)
Life support
Leave your lover

A day to remember

This band have been my favourite for about 5 years now. I absolutely love every single one of their songs and i really can never get sick of them. They are guaranteed to always improve my mood.
My favourite album is definitely Homesick but you can’t go wrong with any of their albums.

Coldplay

Coldplay are another old favourite that just can’t do wrong for me.
A few of my favourites are:
Fix you
Viva la vida
Paradise
Magic

Those are my top 3 of the moment, but theres plenty more where that came from.

What are your favourites?

Currently playing- Animal Crossing New Leaf

Animal crossing new leaf.

So in this game you are Mayor of your own town, and basically your goal is to create a nice town to live in.
The game runs on real time so at different stages of the day there are different things to do and you have little tasks you need to do. Every day there are new things in the stores and new things to find.
You can also visit your friends towns if you have a friend with the game and they can visit you.

I have found this game super addictive. I was worried the real time thing would bug me but i have actually found it fun. The shops don’t open until a certain time and residents tend to sleep in later than me so i spend the morning exploring and discovering.
Its a fun light hearted game that doesn't take much thought and i find its enjoyable in the mornings when caffeine hasn't kicked in yet.

Book to movie #1- Gone girl

I decided to start doing a series where i share my opinion on various book to movie adaptations, I'm not sure how frequently i will do these but we will see how we go!
I thought id start with the book to movie adaptation of Gone girl.

i read gone girl a few months ago before i even knew it was being made into a movie and i absolutely loved it! I loved the twist in it and how through the whole book you where never completely sure you knew who did what.

I was then of course so excited to see it made into a movie. I had high hope and they were definitely well met. I think the movie kept very close to the book and had the suspense of the book. The twist was done so well and even though i knew what was coming i still enjoyed watching it.

I find a lot of book to movie adaptations disappointing but this did not disappoint at all.

2015 Goals

-Blog more
I really would like to keep up with a schedule of 2 days a week.

-Read 50 books
In 2014 i read half the books i read in 2013. 2014 was a busy year for me so I’m not super disappointed but i would like to read a little more next year.

-Travel
We’re already booked to go to Sydney in May, I’m hoping we can also get back to Darwin at some point next year too. An overseas trip may be on the cards too!

-Complete my diploma
I’m almost halfway through me web design course so i will be completing that in 2015. Im still undecided if i will move on to another course after, I've been considering a diploma in business, we will see.

-Cook more
Im not a huge fan of cooking, i will cook as simply as i can. In 2015 i want t cook more and try new recipes. I want to learn to enjoy it.

-Live a positive lifestyle
Im actively trying to be more positive in my everyday life, and i want to continue this in 2015.

Tell me your goals. What do you want out of 2015?
