Book to movie #1- Gone girl

I decided to start doing a series where i share my opinion on various book to movie adaptations, I'm not sure how frequently i will do these but we will see how we go!
I thought id start with the book to movie adaptation of Gone girl.

i read gone girl a few months ago before i even knew it was being made into a movie and i absolutely loved it! I loved the twist in it and how through the whole book you where never completely sure you knew who did what.

I was then of course so excited to see it made into a movie. I had high hope and they were definitely well met. I think the movie kept very close to the book and had the suspense of the book. The twist was done so well and even though i knew what was coming i still enjoyed watching it.

I find a lot of book to movie adaptations disappointing but this did not disappoint at all.

2015 Goals

-Blog more
I really would like to keep up with a schedule of 2 days a week.

-Read 50 books
In 2014 i read half the books i read in 2013. 2014 was a busy year for me so I’m not super disappointed but i would like to read a little more next year.

-Travel
We’re already booked to go to Sydney in May, I’m hoping we can also get back to Darwin at some point next year too. An overseas trip may be on the cards too!

-Complete my diploma
I’m almost halfway through me web design course so i will be completing that in 2015. Im still undecided if i will move on to another course after, I've been considering a diploma in business, we will see.

-Cook more
Im not a huge fan of cooking, i will cook as simply as i can. In 2015 i want t cook more and try new recipes. I want to learn to enjoy it.

-Live a positive lifestyle
Im actively trying to be more positive in my everyday life, and i want to continue this in 2015.

Tell me your goals. What do you want out of 2015?

Life Changes

So i recently found out that i may potentially have celiac disease.
Celiac disease for those who don't know is an intolerance or allergy to gluten.

Being a person who loves bread and pasta and basically everything that contains gluten this came as quite an unwanted shock to me.
Whilst I'm still going through the testing stages of diagnosing it, my doctor is pretty confident that it will be confirmed.

So in comes basically a lifestyle overhaul.
I was previously quite an unhealthy eater and anyone who has been gluten free will know that being gluten free means you need to be a lot healthier and a lot more conscious of what you put in your body.
Never before have i had to check every product before i eat it to ensure its ok for me to consume.

I have had to give up a lot of the things i love but i am also trying to stay positive and find new things that i enjoy.

Change is always hard for me so finding ways to make the adjustment easier is always a plus.

So that's whats happening with me at the moment.
Have you had to make a big lifestyle adjustment? Let me know id love to hear your stories.
